his autumn, PUNTAGAVE introduces one of the rarest expressions ever to join the Los Rurales collection: a handcrafted Raicilla Pechuga, produced only once each year in the mountain community of La Estancia de Landeros, Jalisco.

Crafted from wild Agave maximiliana, our Raicilla begins with traditional production methods that have defined the region for generations. After the second distillation, the spirit enters its most extraordinary stage.

It is triple distilled.

For the third and final distillation, locally harvested fruits, nuts, seeds, flowers, and spices are suspended inside the still alongside a farm-raised turkey breast from our neighbor's ranch. As the spirit slowly passes through the still, it gently extracts delicate aromas and subtle flavors impossible to achieve by any other method.

Every ingredient is sourced within and around the village, making each annual release a true reflection of the season.

Because these ingredients are gathered locally and only when nature provides them, every autumn release will be unique. No two years will ever taste exactly alike.

Each batch is produced in traditional 250-liter lots, preserving the character and individuality of every distillation.

For Autumn 2026, only 528 individually numbered bottles will be released worldwide.

Once these bottles are gone, this expression will not be produced again until Autumn 2027, when an entirely new harvest of local fruits, flowers, nuts, and seeds will shape the next vintage.

Like every spirit in the PUNTAGAVE Los Rurales collection, this Raicilla Pechuga celebrates the people who keep Mexico's rural distilling traditions alive—not through industrial consistency, but through craftsmanship, seasonality, and place.

This is not simply another agave spirit.

It is a snapshot of one mountain village, one harvest, one season, and one moment in time.
